Ankita Bhandari joined the Yamkeshwar Vidhan Sabha Ganga Bhojpur resort named Vanantra resort on August 28 as a receptionist. This resort is owned by Bjp minister’s son Pulkit Arya who allegedly murder Ankita Bhandari by pushing her into the river Ganga with two other members.
Ankita Bhandari has gone missing five days ago from the resort so her parent files an FIR at the nearby police station but nothing happened then Pauri DM himself step into the case and give it to Ram Jula police station for investigation.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered to police to take any action possible and also appointed An SIT under Deputy Inspector General of Police P Renuka Devi to investigate the case:
The police have done good work taking immediate action and arresting the accused Pulkit Arya, manager Saurabh Bhaskar, and assistant manager, Ankit Gupta
The culprits have also accepted they threw Ankita in the Rishikesh Chila barrage after a heated argument with her. They also tried to look innocent by calling the resort after a day and asking about Ankita Bhandari to say they dont know anything about Ankita.
They did this to mislead the police but confessed the crime when interrogated.
The barrage police have also recovered the body from the river and further investigating the case.

The BJP minister Vinod Arya also tries to save his son saying his son is innocent and didn’t do anything, but the police arrested his son regardless of what the minister is saying.
CM Dhami also said to media channels, “It’s unfortunate. Police are working, they have done their work for making the arrests. Strictest punishment would be given for such heinous crimes, whoever be the criminal.”
People are also outraged by the incident and demanding the demolition of the Vanatara Resort and strict action.
